During his 20 year-plus career, Dick Grider has won numerous industry awards for print, television, and direct mail advertising. These awards were earned at New York agencies such as Benton & Bowles, J. Walter Thompson, and Warner, Bicking & Fenwick.

As Associate Creative Director at Warner, Bicking & Fenwick, Dick worked directly with Jack Warner, CEO. Ilford and Leica are two photography accounts that Dick worked on during his ten years at the agency. BASF was another account that had many products, including Zerex Antifreeze. Direct mail was used very effectively for business-to-business accounts, particularly when a small number of executives were targeted, and the budget enabled the agency to create dynamic, attention-getting campaign.

Accounts included:

  • AT&T
  • General Foods
  • BASF Chemical
  • Pepsi Cola
  • The Economist
  • Leica
  • Carnation
  • Vick Chemical
  • Konica
  • Ilford
  • Martin Martin Marietta
  • Merrill Lynch
  • Zerex Antifreeze
  • William Morrow
  • DoubleDay
